Local Route Driver ~ Grand Rapids/Holland, MI

We are seeking a dependable, high-energy, and detail-oriented Local Route Driver to support operations across multiple company locations. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of automotive parts between facilities, maintaining smooth logistics, and supporting warehouse operations.
  

This position can start & end at the store location closest to candidates residence.
Within the Route Area (Grand Rapids - Holland).
We will provide a company vehicle and a gas card for that vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Reliable and self sufficient

• Load, secure, and deliver parts between company stores, distribution centers, or warehouses

• Support warehouse tasks.

• Conduct vehicle inspections; report maintenance concerns promptly

• Handle returns and inventory transfers according to company procedures

• Represent Auto-Wares with professionalism during all internal interactions

• Assist with other tasks as directed by warehouse or delivery managers

Schedule:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm This position can be full or part time.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Must have had valid license for a minimum of 2 years 
  • No major violations
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 3 years if over 25 years of age, and in the past 5 years if under 25 years of age.
  • No more than one at-fault accident
•  Must be at Least 21 Years of Age

• Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely 

• Comfortable working in hot or cold environments

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork

• Must pass a background check and drug screen
