Camp Finberg Learning Lab – Program Lead (Seasonal)

The Attleboro Norton YMCA is launching the Finberg Learning Lab, a new summer academic support program offering on-site tutoring for campers. We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to lead and coordinate this program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Learning Lab (7:00–8:30 AM, Monday–Friday) 
• Manage tutor and camper schedules 
• Maintain daily roster and ensure attendance is tracked by tutors 
• Coordinate camper transitions to and from tutoring sessions 
• Serve as primary point of contact for tutors, families, and camp staff 
• Ensure tutoring spaces (tents near Roddy Pavilion) are set up and organized 
• Communicate schedule updates, including tutor cancellations and rescheduling 
• Support program launch, growth, and adjustments during pilot phase 

Schedule:

• On-site approximately 3 days/week during program operation 
• 5–10 hours/week during program ramp-up (spring) 
• Reduced administrative hours once program is established 

Compensation:

• $50/hour (tutoring support as needed) 
• $25/hour (administrative/program coordination) 

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts Elementary Education Certification required
• Strong organizational and communication skills 
• Experience in education, youth programs, or program coordination preferred 
• Ability to manage schedules and multiple moving parts 
• Self-directed and solution-oriented
