As a Kennel Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the health, happiness, and well-being of the dogs in our care. From feeding and cleaning to playtime and cuddles, you’ll be hands-on in creating a positive experience for our four-legged guests. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience working with animals who takes pride in providing exceptional care.
As a Kennel Assistant, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Feeding and providing fresh water to dogs according to their individual needs.
- Cleaning and maintaining kennels, play areas, and other facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Monitoring the health and behavior of dogs and reporting any concerns to the team.
- Assisting with playtime, exercise, and enrichment activities to keep dogs happy and engaged.
- Providing loving care and attention to each dog to help them feel comfortable and secure.
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- At least 1 year of experience working with animals, especially dogs.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow care instructions.
- Physical stamina to handle an active environment (this role involves standing, walking, and lifting).
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
