Animal Care Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Interlude Pet Resort & Spa is currently seeking full-time and part-time Animal Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals who are professional, reliable, and take initiative, and who truly care about the well-being of animals.

We are looking for team members who understand the importance of consistency and accountability. The animals in our care rely on us every day, and dependability is essential in this role.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, exercise, and enrichment
• Monitoring animal health and behavior and reporting concerns to management
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Working as part of a team to ensure high standards of care are met at all times

• Dependable attendance — call-outs should be rare and only when absolutely necessary

Schedule Requirements:

• Weekends and holidays are required
• Full shifts: 7:00 AM – finish (approximately 6:00 PM)
• Half shifts:
• • 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM – finish (approximately 6:00 PM)

This position is physically active and requires standing, walking, cleaning, and handling animals throughout the day.
