2. Serving staff with F.3/ S.3 standard and 2 years’ care-related work experience may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.
3. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (3), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months' structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.

Department/Cluster\: Department of Family Medicine & Primary Health Care, Kowloon East Cluster
Pay\: HK$19,764 to HK$24,701 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. To perform blood pressure monitoring, vital signs, blood taking and ECG examinations for the outpatients.
2. To assist patients in clinical examinations and bed side procedures.
3. To provide supportive assistance during care process and assist in examination and other investigative procedures.
4. To prepare medical records for outpatients before consultation.
5. To file the clinic notes or make phone calls to patients for follow up and other appointment arrangements.
6. To perform reception services, e.g. answer telephone and explain simple information to patient, etc.
7. To tidy and prepare consultation rooms and treatment rooms.
8. To tidy and prepare trolleys and dressing for special procedures.
9. To clean the used instruments and utensils before sterilization / autoclaving and handling the clinical waste.
10. To collect specimens and update the collection time in CMS.
11. To check stock items of the clinic.
12. To perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5 / S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks); AND
2. Completed recognized Care-related Support Worker Training Course / Health Care Assistant Training Course (See Remarks); AND
3. Completion of a recognized /in-service training program (See Remarks)
Preferable Attributes/exposure:
1. Has clinical experience in outpatient clinic.
2. With knowledge of basic Microsoft Office program operation (e.g. Word, Excel) and Chinese word processing.
3. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
4. Good interpersonal skill, self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work independently.
5. Knowledge of blood taking and / or ECG examination.
