Patient Care Assistant II (Dietetics)

Department/ Cluster: Dietetics Department, Kowloon East Cluster
Pay: HK$19,764 – HK$24,701 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:
1. To assist in implementation of nutritional risk screening initiative.
2. To assist dietitians in preparing patients for professional assessment including but not limited to the following
- To conduct patient diet history recall prior to dietetic consultation
- To conduct basic physical measurements
3. To assist dietitian in monitoring patients’ progress.
4. To assist dietitians in Dietetic Catering Management System (DCMS) development and maintenance.
5. To maintain dietetic-related outcome database.
6. Provide clinical-related secretarial, logistic and administrative support to managers.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by cluster manager and in-charge among cluster departments.
 

Entry Requirements:
1. Has completed F.5/S.5, or equivalent.
2. Completion of a recognized /in-service training program (See Remarks).
 

Preferred Attributes:
1. Possess a degree in nutrition with relevant working experience.
2. Good command of written / spoken English and Chinese.
3. Knowledge in the application of common computer software including MS Office and Chinese Word Processing.
