Pay                       \: HK$19,764 - HK$24,701 per month

Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform direct and indirect patient care.

2. Assist doctor / nurse to perform procedures or investigations in Coronary Care Unit, CIC/ CCL.

3. Prepare environment, equipment, consumables and furniture for procedures in Coronary Care Unit, CIC/ CCL.

4. Assist in transfer patient as well as equipment to operation table / transportation trolley for procedures.  

5. Assist in patient positioning during procedures.  

6. Count and after care used instruments, equipment and related items.  

7. Restock consumables after use.

8. Assist doctor and nurses to perform primary percutaneous coronary intervention in Cardiovascular Intervention Centre / Angio Suite during non-office hour.    

9. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:

1. F.5/S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks).

    

2. Holding certificate of the Health Care Assistant Course / Care-related Support Worker Course accredited by Hospital Authority (HA) (See Remarks).

3. Completed structured departmental training (see Remarks).

4. Good command of English and Chinese, written and spoken.

Preferred Attributes/Exposure:

1. Possess working experience in hospital or health care institute.

2. Knowledge in computer data input (e.g. Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).

2. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (3), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months' structured departmental training.

4. Serving staff with F.3/ S.3 standard and 2 years’ care-related work experience may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.
