Pay | : | HK$19,764 – HK$24,701 per month Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance. |
Key Responsibilities:
1. | Assist in patient care in operating theatre and recovery room and provide various supporting services. |
2. | Set up environment and equipment for Operation procedures. |
3. | Processing of Surgical instrument checking and tracing system. |
4. | Assist in receiving and attending patient. |
5. | Assist in positioning and transferring of patient. |
6. | Provide general patient care. |
7. | Assist in patient monitoring before, during and after Operation procedures. |
8. | Reprocessing of endoscopes and endoscopic accessories. |
9. | Provide general maintenance of Automatic Endoscope Reprocessor. |
10. | Assist in store keeping and stock taking of medical consumable. |
11. | Clean and disinfect environment and equipment before and after procedures. |
12. | Required to wear Lead apron, LASER goggles and PPE, need to work under X-ray, LASER or infectious procedures. |
13. | Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor as required. |
Entry Requirements:
1. Completed F.5/ S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks); AND
2. Completed structured departmental training (see Remarks).
Preferred Attributes/Exposure:
1. Passed Chinese & English in HKCEE/ HKDSE and good general education up to tertiary level or higher.
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Good PC skills & knowledge in common softwares such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
4. Responsible, self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure.
5. Applicants with relevant training / working experience in healthcare field desirable.
6. Knowledge on statistics and store operation.
7. Interest in working in operating theatre.

2. Applicants who do not meet entry requirement (2), if find suitable, will be employed to undergo at least 6 months’ on-the-job training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
3. Serving staff who completed F.3/ S.3 with at least 2-year care-related experience may also apply. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by the HA are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.
