Job Title:                     Summer STRETCH Instructors 
Location:                     Perry Elementary School (Grades K-4)
Position Available:     June 2026
Working Days:            Monday - Thursday (June 8 - July 2)  Morning hours
Compensation:           Instructors:  $32.00-$40.00/hour Per PCTA negotiated agreement for Perry teachers/tutors; $29.00/hour for employees outside of this negotiated agreement
                                   
Job Summary:
Demonstrate the Ohio Standards for Professional Educators, including but not limited to:

• Foster positive relationships, a strengths-based mindset, and readily makes personal connections with individual students
• Plan and facilitate appropriate intervention in collaboration with the District Literacy/RtI Specialist and report attendance
• Provide student support to clarify misconceptions to maximize intended student growth
• Attend staff training prior to Summer STRETCH
• Collaborate with administration and provide data to support decision-making for future placement of students, as requested

On-Campus Instruction - 3 hours per day

• 1 hour preparation and receiving/dismissing student transitions (.5 hour before/.5 hour after programming)
• 2 hours of intervention teaching

Qualifications:

• Licensed Educator for Math or English Language Arts, and
• Prior successful experience working with students, and
• Demonstrated professionalism and positive relationships with students, staff, administrators, and parents.
